As a kid I grew up surfing and skateboarding. I considered these to be my form of exercise. I didn’t have the best role models in the way of nutrition and exercise. My diet consisted of fast food and energy drinks. That all caught up to me in my mid twenties. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and was extremely over weight. The ability to interact with my kids physically was nearly impossible. All of that along with having a family history of heart disease was my wake up call.
My journey with CrossFit started in 2012. Becoming better prepared at life situations inspired me to dig deep into my lifestyle and fitness choices. Motivating others inspired me to receive my L1 certification in 2015. I have been apart of the CrossFit Turnbull family since 2016 and also lead the weightlifting program.
I have a passion to see others grow. I love to challenge my athletes and encourage them along the way. Athletes come in all shapes and sizes and as a coach I feel like I have the flexibility to adjust to each athletes needs and goals.
